Talking to MPs

I recently watched the disability debate along with i think most of the disabled twitter users and i expect a lot of disabled people in the UK with great hope that fresh ideas and changes would come out of it. i was very sad to see that most of the focus was put on Remploy and it looked as if they avoided discussing the important issue of the WCA (Work capability assessment) after failing to get from the debate what i felt was a reasonable response the the issue i contacted my local MP and from talking with one of my followers on twitter i found out about another MP who i also asked about the issue.

My local MP was unable to attend the debate due to discussing unemployment in the north east while i was upset as i judge the disability debate the be a key issue i understand he has different views or more important issues that effect more of his constituents. My local MP was kind enough to respond to my e mail  by post and while he was kind enough to tell me that my views on the WCA had been passed on the the
Department for Work and Pensions from someone else.

The other MP sent a long e mail mostly on Remploy and sadly very little on the WCA,  i was not shocked as the WCA is a very sensitive issue and at times MPs seem to have no idea how to bring it up or deal with it.
