contracting things out

Watching in the news how the Olympics security is going seems to be a perfect example of why contracting out important event services is a bad idea.

I watched in horror the news this week of G4S failing to provide the correct security for the Olympics and was shocked to see how it seemed to be taken as one of these things that just happens , as this is one of if not the most important event this country has ever held i would have expected it to be taken more seriously and private security ignored and the police and the army used from the start. This was a chance to show how great this country is but sadly it seems that chance have been shattered by people not taking the Olympics seriously.
